Positive: Host Alex was very responsive and helpful. Helped us to have a later checkout which we really appreciated. The Cleaner was lovely too! Cosy and clean apartment, would definitely recommend.
Negative: I really liked this accomodation and would stay again, here were a few things that are nice to have. 1. A sponge to wash up and another to clean the bath and sink 2. A tin opener! 3. A couple of utensils i.e. cooking spoon and a knife, quite difficult to cut/prepare meat and other foods without a knife. The one thing we didn't like was the noisy neighbours above. Quite a bit of banging and what sounded like someone was on a treadmill every night. Also hoovering at 9pm or later. Accessibility - It is worth noting there are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment (it's on the 2nd floor)
Summary: Excellent 2 bed accommodation, really clean and comfy.

Positive: The pros strongly outweigh the cons here: Our location in the Plateau neighborhood was excellent! There was plenty of food, drinks, & parks in walking distance. (including the more trail-heavy side of Mount Royal, for any interested hikers!) The apartment itself was very easy to get inside and felt very safe. I slept very comfortably on the bed. Having access to a washer & dryer in unit was also very appreciated. Overall it was a nice stay!
Negative: The given wifi networks were weak & spotty. Sometimes we would lose the signal when going into a different room, and other times it was just a weak signal. (This wasn't a huge deal to us, since we were there to sightsee not sit on phones, but if a stable network is an important requirement for your visit, it's something to consider.) Also the AC being in the living room meant the bedrooms got pretty warm at night, and while there were fans provided, they were very dirty & dusty.

Positive: Great location close to cafes and main attractions. Is a modern, refurbished interior in an old, rundown building.
Negative: Internet / WiFi didn’t work. Towels need a revamp - they were a mix of different types and were very old and looked over used. The portable air con device is too loud to use. Neighbors were very noisy, even to the early hours of the morning (3am). We could hear footsteps and things being rolled across the floor. Someone called the front door at 5am one morning to get in.
Summary: Apartment is very simple with everything you need and close to main attractions and cafes. But, we wouldn’t stay there a

Positive: I liked the location with many shops, it's a $20 Uber ride downtown. The apartment was spacious and pretty clean. There is a convenience of laundry in the apt which was very helpful in the rainy weather. The staff was very communicative and helpful.
Negative: I was not happy about how far the parking is and that you have to pay for parking. You have lots of walking up stairs with luggage and cooler. The apartment I stayed at was pretty dark and had no views. The TV was small and bed pretty hard.

Positive: The place was very clean, great location, host was easy to communicate with. All appliances and fixtures worked and were either new or in great condition. Heat worked well and doors/windows were well insulated.
Negative: The description of the place wasn't entirely accurate. It's not a hotel at all, there are no services, and I don't remember reading anywhere that it was a half basement (semi under street level). Also the balcony is not exactly a balcony.
